The 2009 Detroit Auto Show kicked off this week and the media is all abuzz with the latest from our automakers. Green is the obvious hot topic even with low gas prices. As you may recall we have been following the Social Share of Voice among hybrid automakers (October and December), and today is the great time to review again. Looking at today’s SMI numbers Lexus has made a huge jump, moving into the #4 position and Toyota still hold their overall dominance.
Aside from the hybrid market I thought it might be interesting to see which auto brands are making the biggest as the show has started. I compared December’s average with this weeks numbers to see who had the biggest point movements and Lincoln and Ford topped the list. Over 34 brands were analyzed.
